The Johari Bazaar is one of the famous shopping destinations in Jaipur and one of the oldest. The bazaar is famous for its jewellery stores. The Johari Bazaar is a mix of showrooms and street shops.
The Bapu Bazaar is famous for its Mojari footwear and leather products. The market is open till about 8 pm, so go early to shop for what you want. The shops in Bapu Bazaar serve the most delicious KulfiFalooda so make sure you try that when you visit.
Travel to Pushkar/Ajmer via Bagru attending the Bagru Printing Workshop. Learn about the several stages that occur in the making of beautiful fabric design. Bagru is little town 30 Kms far from Jaipur. Known for its unique art of Block Printing, you will not only understand this vibrant craft but also experience it yourself. At the end of the workshop you will have a one of a kind block printed scarf/handkerchief made by you Pushkar has a magnetism all of its own – it’s quite unlike anywhere else in Rajasthan. It’s a prominent Hindu pilgrimage town and devout Hindus should visit at least once in their lifetime. The town curls around a holy lake, said to have appeared when Brahma dropped a lotus flower .
Stay overnight at the Barli Fort, Pushkar.
In the morning, visit the local village in Barli and interact with the villagers to understand the opulence and elegance of a bygone era in Ajmer. Around noon, travel to Jodhpur, and check in to
Taj HariMahal.
