Day 1Arrival in hanoi

Arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam, one of the most ancient capitals of the world. Private transfer to accommodation at The Lapis Hotel.

Day 2Full day hanoi city tour

In the morning, visit the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a stately monument of marble and granite built to house the preserved body of beloved revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh, affectionately known to the Vietnamese as “Uncle Ho”. Witness Vietnam’s most iconic pagodas, a wooden shaped lotus blossom set on a single stone pillar at a Buddhist temple called One Pillar Pagoda.

Move on to the 6th century Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, located on a small island in West Lake then proceed to the Trang Pottery Village, a half-millenary old traditional Vietnamese town located southeast of Hanoi Lunch will be served at the local restaurant before proceeding to the museum of Ethnology by the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11th century. The picturesque temple is an example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and is featured on the back of the 100,000 Vietnamese dong banknote. Next, observe the serenity and peaceful atmosphere of the Lake of the Returned Sword, the famous Hoan Kiem Lake near the beautiful Ngoc Son temple. End your tour by immersing yourself in Vietnamese culture at the famed Old Quarter.

Day 3Ha long – bon voyage!!

Depart for a 3.5 hour journey to Halong Bay. Upon arrival in Halong Bay, begin your voyage with a lunch as the boat cruises towards South East Halong Bay. Then discover the mysterious Sung Sot Cave on Bo Hon Island, one of the finest and widest grottoes in Halong Bay. Then head to Titop Island for swimming and snorkeling or embark on a short trek to the top of the island for a panoramic view of Halong Bay.

Then continue with the cruise to watch the sunset on the deck during a cocktail party. It’s an ideal time to make new friends, sharing your travel experience or simply embracing the sunset.

Enjoy authentic Vietnamese delicacies from an exquisite dinner menu and a large selection of cocktails at the bar. You may also choose to indulge in one of the onboard activities like book reading, games, movies, and squid fishing.

Day 4Transfer back to hanoi after exploring the luon cave

Wake up early and join in a Tai Chi demonstration, held on the upper deck. After, enjoy onboard breakfast.

As the boat sails to Luon Cave, you will have the option of either exploring the cave yourself on a kayak or comfortably on a bamboo boat rowed by the locals.

Return to your boat and relax before checking out. Enjoy a short cooking demonstration on how to make spring rolls before an early lunch is served while cruise towards the jetty in the late morning to transfer back to Hanoi.

This marks the end of your getaway! Drive back to Hanoi for return flight.
