Move on to the 6^th century Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, located on a small island in West Lake then proceed to the Trang Pottery Village, a half-millenary old traditional Vietnamese town located southeast of Hanoi Lunch will be served at the local restaurant before proceeding to the museum of Ethnology by the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11^th century. The picturesque temple is an example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and is featured on the back of the 100,000 Vietnamese dong banknote. Next, observe the serenity and peaceful atmosphere of the Lake of the Returned Sword, the famous Hoan Kiem Lake near the beautiful Ngoc Son temple. End your tour by immersing yourself in Vietnamese culture at the famed Old Quarter.

Depart for a 3.5 hour journey to Halong Bay. Upon arrival in Halong Bay, begin your voyage with a lunch as the boat cruises towards South East Halong Bay. Then discover the mysterious Sung Sot Cave on Bo Hon Island, one of the finest and widest grottoes in Halong Bay. Then head to Titop Island for swimming and snorkeling or embark on a short trek to the top of the island for a panoramic view of Halong Bay.

Then continue with the cruise to watch the sunset on the deck during a cocktail party. It’s an ideal time to make new friends, sharing your travel experience or simply embracing the sunset.
